Your search is yours.
You can search and compare trials without creating an account. We collect contact information only when you deliberately register interest.
Information collected
Anonymous searches are processed to return results and are not attached to an identity by TrialClarity. If you register interest, we store your email address, optional first name, whether you are searching as a patient or caregiver, the selected NCT study identifier when applicable, the consent text version, and timestamps.
How it is used
Interest information is used to operate requested updates, understand demand, and contact you about the service. Registering interest does not enroll you in a trial and does not send your information to a research site. We will ask for separate, specific permission before any future site introduction.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal or health information.
- We do not use Meta Pixel, advertising retargeting, or session replay on search and interest flows.
- We do not use ClinicalTrials.gov contact information for marketing.
- We do not require marketing consent to search.
Service providers and storage
The service uses Cloudflare for hosting, security, and database storage. Providers process data only to deliver the service. If an OpenAI-powered answer mode is enabled, your question and the selected public study record are sent to OpenAI to generate a response; do not include identifying or medical-record details. The service does not send your interest-registration contact details to a language-model provider.
Retention and deletion
Interest records are retained for no longer than 12 months after the last service interaction unless a shorter period is required or you request deletion. To access, correct, unsubscribe, or delete your information, email privacy@lungcancerclinicaltrials.org. We will verify the request without asking for unnecessary medical information.
Security and incidents
We use encrypted network connections, access controls, and limited data collection. No system is perfectly secure. If an incident triggers notification duties, we will notify affected people and regulators as required, including under the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule when applicable.
Children and geography
The current service is for adults in the United States and is not directed to children. Do not submit information about a child.
